REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:
Nexus Valve is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Southern and Eastern States Region, with the primary responsibility of increasing revenue within the territory by developing strategies for market activities, providing appropriate sales and application support, increasing the customer's industry and product knowledge as well as trouble shooting, sales presentations, and training seminars. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth in Nexus Valve product lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Job requires regular (up to 60%) travel
  • Manage a territory of Nexus accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Pursues new OEM business opportunities.
  • Identifies new business prospects and assists Sales Representatives and OEMs in securing those opportunities.
  • Provides applications and sales support to reps, engineers, end users, and to internal Nexus departments.
  • Works with management team in evaluating new products and product enhancements.
  • Works with the Nexus Customer Service department to ensure quality customer service for all customers.
  • Develop and review both short-term and long-term sales strategies.
  • Assists in organizing and executing customer training, engineering, and contractor sales presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 4+ year's industry experience in field sales or similar position
  • Solid understanding of hydronic heating and cooling systems, products, and applications.
  • Must live within the assigned territory (Preferably on the Southern Coast or East Coast, including Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Virginia).
  • Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining flexibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer/Client Focused
  • Self-directed
  • Prior Regional and/or Sales Management experience.
  • Experience working with Engineers and/or Mechanical contractors.
